“The hike was incredible but it was quite tough too. The views were absolutely incredible and we got some great weather with clear blue skies. He was also very helpful when certain sections got a little tricky and would show a path to follow and on occasion even rope you up and pull you if needed for a small section”

“Probably the best hike I’ve ever done! I lucked out with a private tour. My guide, Freddy, was fantastic and very experienced. Mateo is definitely not easy, and you need to be in both good physical shape and properly acclimatized. The first portion is climbing on rocks, and then you start the ice climbing. I personally found the rock climbing to be challenging on its own, while the ice climbing was particularly hard because of the altitude. Remember to breathe slowly and deeply. Go to Mateo!”

“On a passé la journée à attendre c’était insupportable. En prime nous n’avons pas pu manger de 8h40 à 18h30 car il fallait réserver notre plat le matin soi-disant ????? Nous sommes retournés à Huaraz a + de 18h30 et pas à 17h30 comme indiqué, alors que nous avions un bus juste après.”

“It was a great tour and a really good day. Thank you very much. The two disappointments are, that we planed (like written in the contract) with an end at the same place where we were collected. So we have had a longer way home with two tired kids. Further on called the contract a maximum of 20 people but there were 28 what means a litten bit less comftorbility. The tour was really good, but a lot of tourists expect what is written in the contract. Muchas gracias!”

La vue est magnifique ! Arrêt prévu chez une super famille pour le petit déjeuner, il est très bon. Plusieurs arrêts sont prévus pour les toilettes avant le trek. Faites attention, nous avions reçu un message pour un pick-up à 8h30 alors que le guide est venu nous chercher à 5h ! Cela dit ce n’était pas la faute du guide Wilson, qui est super ! Prévoyez des vêtements chauds et contre la pluie. Si…”
